Protein Tap Last updated: July 5, 2026
Protein Tap is a personal protein intake tracking app. All data you enter is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server, sold, or shared.
We do not collect any personal data.
Everything you log in Protein Tap — your protein sources, serving counts, gram totals, and usage history — is stored only in a local database on your phone. It never leaves your device.
Specifically, the app does not collect:
Protein Tap uses Apple’s StoreKit (via RevenueCat) to process the one-time in-app purchase. When you make a purchase, Apple handles the transaction under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase was successful — no payment details, no personal information.
No other third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection SDKs are included in this app.
All app data (protein logs, settings) lives in a SQLite database on your device, inside the app’s private storage. Deleting the app from your phone permanently deletes all data. There is no cloud backup and no server-side copy.
Protein Tap does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no data at all, no special provisions are required under COPPA or similar laws.
If we ever change how data is handled, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Given the local-only architecture, we do not anticipate material changes.
